About FitCalc

Fitness numbers are more useful when you understand them.

FitCalc connects practical estimates, focused tools, and clear explanations so you can make better-informed decisions without pretending the numbers are perfect.

One connected system

Four ways to move from a question to a useful next step.

01

Plan

Personalized starting targets and a practical roadmap shaped around your goal.

02

Nutrition

Preference-driven food recommendations that make those targets easier to apply.

03

Calculators

Focused tools for calories, body composition, strength, cardio, and individual questions.

Why it exists

Useful information is often scattered.

A calculator may live in one place, nutrition advice somewhere else, and the explanation behind both in a third. The result is often a precise-looking number with little context, or lots of context with no practical next step.

FitCalc aims to connect useful estimates, practical tools, and understandable explanations while remaining clear about uncertainty.

How information is handled

Transparent methods, practical recommendations.

Show the method

Equations, assumptions, limitations, and review context are documented where appropriate.

Separate result from judgment

Mechanical calculations, evidence-informed ranges, and FitCalc recommendations are not treated as the same thing.

Avoid false precision

Results are starting points to compare with consistent real-world trends, not guarantees.

Correct and update

Sources and explanations are reviewed, and readers can report a concern or correction.

Privacy by default

No account is currently required.

FitCalc calculations run in your browser. When you approve persistence, supported profile and product state stays local to that browser and device. It does not create an account or sync elsewhere.

Analytics consent and newsletter subscriptions are separate systems. You can clear saved FitCalc product data independently. The Privacy page explains the current behavior in detail.

A clear boundary

FitCalc is educational, not medical care.

FitCalc does not diagnose conditions, provide individualized clinical nutrition, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Use the tools as planning references and seek appropriate professional guidance when your health or circumstances require it.
